How about swimming on a beach ?

Always check locally before swimming anywhere in the sea and be careful of currents when swimming in any rivers, including the sacred Ganges River at Rishikesh (Uttaranchal). Beaches can have dangerous rips and currents and there are drowning deaths each year.
