Day 1: Arrive Ulaanbaatar

Day 2: Baga Gazrin Chuluu; see rock formations. Overnight in tents.

Day 3: Journey into the Gobi. Over night in Camps.

Day 4: Short drive to Yoln Am Gorge, with glaciers that remains frozen even in the hottest summer days. Overnight in Camps.

Days 5 & 6: Spectacular sea of Sand dunes at Khongoryn Els Dunes and Saksul forest with fossilized eggs. One day for Camel/Horse Riding. Overnight in Camp.

Day 7: Bayanzag Mountains, the “cemetery of dinosaurs” where Roy Chapman Andrews, the American paleontologist found the fossils. Overnight in Camp.

Day 8: Journey to Ongiin Khiid monastery, established 250 years ago near the Ongiin river. Bari Hamba Spring next to the Ongiin monastery, said to have medicinal properties and does not freeze, even during the harsh winter.

Day 9: Journey to Arvaiheer, the capital town of Uvurhangain province. Overnight local Hotel/Guest House.

Day 10: Journey to Kharkhorin. Chinggis khan’s fabled city and ’s ancient capital.

Day 11: Kharkhorin. Erdene zuu hiid monastery. Overnight in Camp.

Day 12: Khugno Khan, Uvgun Khidd, hiking. Over-night in Camp.

Day 13: Riding in Khustai Nuruu. Over-night in Camp.

Days 14 & 15: Fly to Ulaanbaatar; visit Gandan Khiid, largest monastery and temple complex with tallest Buddha statue in Central Asia. Visit some of the many Museums and shop or rest.

Day 16: Depart Ulaanbaatar.
