Lhuentse Tsechu

Lhuentse Tsechu after the harvest season in Lhuntshe Dzong. As most of the rice paddies are in the low altitude and the climate is warmer, the harvest takes place around November. Lhuentse is around 2-3hrs drive north of Mongar. The dances and festivals are similar to others held in the Dzong around the country with folk singing and dancing. As it is more remote, one feels more authentic.
