Anthony Lopchan is a cultural and Trekking guide for Sikkim,Darjeeling and Doars Regions. He has a flair for storytelling and great sense of humour, this traits make a minor set backs that sometime a tour throw in appears ridiculous. Travelling is innate in him, and dislike staying in one place, which took him far and wide places to quench his thirst for his wanderlust to a fair degree and in some case to make a living.
He is born and brought up in Darjeeling. He grew up playing in mountain and under the watchful eyes of Mt Kanchenjunga, and its only natural to fall in love with it. He always felt a longing to be close to it, and beckon him alluring in its lap. Right after finishing his bachelor degree from St Joseph College, Darjeeling in 1995. He joined the travel trade. Apart from his expertise on cultural aspects, his inherent propensity took him to mountains many times. Up there, he always found one better than the last time. He did Dzongri and Goecha la Trek many times and in Oct, 2014 he successfully completed Sandakphu Trek in Darjeeling with group our French Guests.
