Hilltops and Village Tour of Nepal

Upon your arrival, a Wind Horse representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you’ll go for an introductory tour of Kathmandu city, starting with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Stroll through Asan and Indra Chowk markets observing ancient houses, bustling markets, and temples. In the evening,  enjoy dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant featuring a cultural performance. Bhaktapur presents a captivating glimpse into Nepal’s rich history and cultural legacy. In Bhaktapur you will explore the Durbar Square, the square has an array of temples adorned with intricate carvings, statues, and architectural marvels made of stone, metal, and wood.

Among its notable attractions is the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, showcasing elaborate woodwork and design, serving as a testament to the city’s rich artistic heritage.

At the Pottery Square you will get the unique opportunity to witness traditional pottery-making techniques over wooden wheels, crafting various shapes and sizes from clay, preserving age-old methods in a rapidly changing world.

Continuing towards Namobuddha, the journey includes a stop at Dhulikhel, offering a panoramic view of the mountains. Namobuddha bears immense spiritual significance as the site where, in a previous life, the Buddha selflessly offered himself to a starving tigress. Overnight in Namobuddha.

This morning, you will go on a hike around Namobuddha. The trail will lead you through villages, allowing you to visit local homes, engage with residents, and gain valuable insight into their unique ways of life.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to vistas of snowcapped mountains, verdant hills, and terraced fields, creating a stunning backdrop for our journey.

Following lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to make a brief visit to the Thrangu Tashi Yangtsi Monastery for a short ridge walk. This leisurely stroll guarantees panoramic vistas of the surrounding valley, offering you a chance to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the landscape. Overnight in Namobuddha.

This morning, you will drive from Namobuddha to the Domestic airport in Kathmand and take a flight to Pokhara. The flight presents a breathtaking aerial view of Nepal’s majestic mountain ranges.

Upon arriving in Pokhara, our local guide will pick you and transfer you to the lakeside area. After you will take a boat ride and visit the Tal Barahi temple, cross over the lake and take a short hike to the World Peace Pagoda. The world Peace Pagoda offers a beautiful view of the Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake.

From the peace pagoda our vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to Sarangkot. Perched on a higher ridge, Sarangkot presents breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchre Mountains. Enjoy the sun set vies as the sun sets beyond the horizon from your hotel. Overnight in Sarangkot.

Early morning you will hike to the view point at sarangkot to observe the sunrise view. Experiencing the sunrise from Sarangkot is truly magical, as the sun casts its golden hues upon the Himalayan peaks.

After breakfast, you will take on an easy downhill hike through picturesque villages until you meet the vehicle, and drive to Pokhara. In Pokhara, you will visit Devis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, the Tibetan Refugee Centre, and the International Mountain Museum.

You will also explore the numerous shops around the lakeside area with our guide, while the driver remains on standby to transfer you to your hotel at Sarangkot. Overnight in Sarangkot.

Today you will take a road journey to the historic village of Bandipur. Bandipur offers an excellent chance to immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Newari heritage and its architectural splendor.

Bandipur is just off the Pokhara–Kathmandu highway from Dumre. This village serves as a living museum of Newari culture, exuding a timeless charm through its winding, narrow lanes adorned with towering 18th-century buildings and delightful cafes.

Explore the cobblestone streets, discover the vibrant tapestry of colorful houses, each serving as a testament to the architectural legacy and unique charm of the village.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll to the viewpoint, where you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama showcasing the majestic Annapurna range, the eastern Langtang peaks, the western Dhaulagiri, and the picturesque valley below. Overnight in Bandipur.

The journey from Bandipur to Kathmandu along the Trishuli River offers picturesque view that captures the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes.

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will visit the Boudhanath Stupa, largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, holding immense spiritual significance. Circumambulate along with the pilgrims and visit the monasteries around.

Following this, you will take a short drive to the Pashupatinath Temple. This sacred Hindu temple, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight.
