Hyatt opens third hotel in Goa – India

147-room Hyatt Place launches close to Candolim Beach

Hyatt has expanded its portfolio in India with the opening a new Hyatt Place hotel in Goa.

The new Hyatt Place Goa/Candolim is located in North Goa, close to Candolim Beach, Calangute Beach and Fort Aguada, and 36km from Goa’s Dabolim Airport.

“The opening of Hyatt Place Goa/Candolim is a significant milestone for the Hyatt Place brand as it continues to expand in India and across the globe,” said Kurt Straub, Hyatt’s vice president of operations for India. “Goa’s first Hyatt Place hotel will be a vibrant and dynamic hotel that combines comfort and style that fits right into the region’s holiday capital.”

The new hotel features 147 rooms, all of which feature ‘Cozy Corner’ sofa-sleepers and free Wi-Fi. Facilities include a 24/7 F&B area, a bar, 24-hour gym, outdoor pool and meeting space.

Hyatt Place Goa/Candolim becomes the company’s third property in Goa, following the existing Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt hotels, and the fourth Hyatt Place in India.
