Day Rides in Bumthang
Village, forest and riverside trails straight from the Tang ranch.
Bumthang · where it all began in 2012
Our original ranch spreads over more than ten acres in the quiet Tang Valley, about 30 km (1.5 hours) from Jakar town and Bumthang airport. The farm road in passes Membartsho, the Burning Lake, Pema Shedrup Nunnery and Tang Rimochen Temple.
On one side lies the Wobthang community dairy and sheep farm, on the other untouched wilderness. The large outdoor arena has a viewing booth where guests relax with mountain views while riders train.
Over the years we have cleared trails, raised our horses and built a welcoming place for riders of every level, to broaden Bhutan’s tourism, support the rural economy and travel responsibly.
