Lungta Join-In: Bhutan Small Group Journey

Join fellow travelers on a 7-day journey through the heart of Bhutan

Lungta Join-In is made for solo travelers and couples who want to see Bhutan with good company, without the hassle of planning. Choose a departure date, fly into Paro, and join a small group of like-minded explorers led by a dedicated local guide. With no more than six travelers per van, you get the warmth of a shared journey with the attention of a private tour.

Over seven unhurried days, you’ll take part in Bhutanese life as well as seeing it. Try your hand at traditional arts in Thimphu and wander its markets with the locals. Raise prayer flags together on Dochula Pass, high above the clouds. Picnic among the rice fields of Punakha, cross the swaying bridge behind its riverside dzong, and receive a long-life blessing from the monks of Gangtey in the beautiful Phobjikha Valley.

The journey ends with Bhutan’s most famous sight: the cliffside Tiger’s Nest monastery. Afterward, a soothing foot massage and a traditional hot stone bath complete the experience.

You’ll arrive as a traveler and leave with new friends, lasting memories, and perhaps a little of Bhutan’s famous happiness.

In Bhutan, prayer flags called lungta — “wind horses” — carry blessings on the mountain breeze to everyone they touch. This journey is our invitation to come along for the ride.
