Throughout Bhutan,  birth anniversary of the 5th King Jigme Khesar  Namgyal Wangchuk is celebrated by three day of public holidays and celebration across the country in form of public programs, festive events, fairs, feasts and music. The schools celebrate the first day by dances, songs, sports and other events.
His Majesty the King was born on 21st Feb 1980.
