Trashigang Tsechu

Trashigang Tsechu festival is held inside Trashigang Dzong. Trashigang is also spelt as Tashigang. This four day event organised by the state monastic body brings in people from remote areas of Tashigang, Tashiyangtse and also the colorful tribes from Merak and Sakten valleys. On the last day of the festival, giant Thangka or Thongdrol is unfurled.
