We enjoyed our time in Bhutan greatly. The roads obviously need a lot of fixing. Unless you are sure that the center in Punakha is open, I would revise plans. The drive was spectacular, but we simply turned around to go back over the same bad roads. The flight from Paro to Bangkok was a disaster, although it was not Wind Horse’s fault. 12 hours to take a 4hour flight was really too much. Is there another airline other that Druk? We would recommend your company at any time. Everything was well organized.
