Although we were not able to reach Mera Peak, Kumar quickly arranged an alternative route with Mani which allowed Sarka and I make the most of our time. We ended up visiting places we had never seen before, meeting interesting people, and even spotting Nepal’s national bird twice in one day.

Mani took exceptional care of us throughout the trip. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and well always looked after—even organizing our evening downtime with simple touches like playing cards together.

I would especially like to commend his dedication and capability. He effectively took on guiding responsibilities while also carrying one of my heavy bags in addition to my day pack. His professionalism, strength, and positive attitude did not go unnoticed.

I strongly believe Mani has great potential and is more than deserving of opportunities to develop further as a guide.
