Perfect Trip in Bhutan

I visited Bhutan for the first time, and the trip couldn’t have been more perfect! I would definitely recommend Wind Horse Tours and my guides (Yonten and Chimi) to anyone who is planning a trip to Bhutan (or other countries that they operate in).

Even before the trip, the planning process was effortless. The e-mail communication with the planning staff (Jambay and Ugen) was timely and efficient, and it was easy to set up my trip.

I was by myself, and my guide was Yonten and the driver was Chimi.
Yonten was extremely knowledgeable about not just every site we visited, but also about any questions I had regarding the Bhutanese culture. It was also my first time traveling with a tour guide, and before this trip, I wasn’t too sure if I would like having a guide. But Yonten was a perfect traveling companion, kind of like a friend!

Chimi was an excellent driver with a warm smile. There were so many road constructions, but he was an extremely careful driver who always made me feel safe. Chimi was also very attentive and opened the car door for me as soon as he saw me approaching the car, and always remembered to provide me the complimentary water bottle.

The next time I come to Bhutan, I will definitely organize my trip through Wind Horse, and I will make sure to request Yonten and Chimi as my guides!
