Bhutan Trekking Team

Trekking Team in Bhutan – The People Behind the Journey
At Wind Horse Tours, we believe the strength of a trek lies not just in the trail, but in the team that supports you throughout the journey. Our trekking crew brings decades of experience, deep local knowledge, and heartfelt hospitality to ensure your adventure in Bhutan is memorable, safe, and seamless.
Who’s on a Typical Trek?
- Each trek is staffed by a well-coordinated team, usually including:
- Licensed Trekking Guide – fluent in English and trained in wilderness first-aid
- Professional Cook – trained to prepare fresh, nutritious meals even in high altitudes
- Kitchen Assistant – supports cooking and camp setup
- Horsemen – manage pack animals (horses or yaks) for transporting gear
- Most of our crew members have been with us for years, and their skills go beyond their job titles. They are problem-solvers, helpers, and often part of the reason guests return to trek with us again.
Trekking Safety, Standards & Staff Welfare
Wind Horse Tours goes beyond the basics to ensure both guest safety and crew well-being in every trek.
