- Fixed Departure Small Group Journeys
We offer a curated selection of “Fixed Departure Small Group” dates for our most popular treks and cultural tours. These are pre-scheduled dates designed specifically for solo travelers and couples who want to join a larger team. To ensure a personal experience and minimize our footprint on local communities, we cap these groups at just 9 participants (unless otherwise specified). These trips are led by our most senior guides and offer a structured, social way to explore Bhutan. - “Join-In” Groups (Private Open Groups)
If our Fixed Departure dates don’t align with your specific schedule, we can create a “Join-In” Group just for you. You choose your own travel dates and itinerary. Once your plan is set, we post your trip on our website as an “Open Group” for others to join.
Even if no one else joins, we guarantee your trip will run as a private tour. You won’t have to worry about a cancellation just because you are solo. If other travelers do join in, you get to share the experience and reduce the overall cost of your trip.
Plan Early for Join-Ins: If you want others to join your custom dates, we recommend setting your itinerary 6–9 months in advance. This gives us the best window to find the perfect travel companions for you!
