How safe is the Bank Transfer Deposit? How can I be sure that my money is not lost in some distant account?

All payments for Bhutan are safe. Your payment is transferred to the account of Tourism Council of Bhutan and then once the tour is executed or completed, our office in Bhutan receives the payment. Your druk air tickets payment if received are used for purchasing tickets and hence we do not hold onto your payment for Bhutan trips. If you feel unsafe bank transferring to a distant account you have two options: a) you may ask us for client references from your country who have traveled with us in the past or b) Once your tour has been booked and confirmed, you can send around 50% and pay the remaining upon arrival in Bhutan using Cash or Traveler’s Checks. However Department of Tourism or Tourism Council of Bhutan will require you come and visit them in Bhutan and complete formalities, if you are making part payment in Bhutan.
