I have a friend who is native Bhutanese, and I’d like him to be my host and guide. What is the procedure in this instance?

If your friend is willing to be your Guide and is licensed by Department of Tourism to be a guide, we will happily be able to assign him as your guide. The regular fee that we pay to our Guides will be paid to him as well. However if he or she does not have a guide license, one is not allowed to guide and in such case, we will use our guide and you can also ask him to join. Any additional costs if any will have to borne by you.
