Experience the ethereal Rangtse Ney Tshechu, a rare festival where the forest becomes a living temple. Located in southern Haa, this sacred site—prophesied by Guru Rinpoche as Rinchen Shong—is also known as Sangbay Ney (The Concealed Site).
- Day 1: A mystical opening ceremony held deep within the forest at the festival grounds.
- Days 2 & 3: The celebration moves to the village (Dungkhang) for two days of vibrant community festivities.
Beyond the dances, visitors can explore the Rongtse Ney sacred cave perched above the festival grounds or find peace by the Amo Chu river (Mochu Ney). It is a magical glimpse into Bhutan’s heart, where ancient culture and wilderness exist as one.
