I would like to give you a report from our trip

Guide Tharka + driver Gyem Dorji

The vehicle was in excellent condition

Guide Tharka is very experienced, very friendly, helpful guide. We were particulay impressed by his knowlege about Buddhism with all the thankas and murals in the monasteries. I think we were lucky to have him as a guide. He cares a lot for the persons he is guiding.

Driver Gyem is reliable, a very good driver, he knows all the places very well, a pleasant person who cares for his customers. Tharka and Gyem are a good team.

The only negative thing : Yongkhola / Chengala  Homestay. This place you should not stay there. The place is chaotic and not clean. The wife was in hospital and the owner could not cook.  Our guide Tharka took over and was cooking for us for almost 4 hours. He is also a excellent cook. Thanks to him we got finally a dinner.
