Nabji Lhakhang Drup Festival

Nabji Lhakhang Drup festival takes place in the Nabji village temple. Accessible by road in recent years, Nabji is situated near Reotala, between Zhemgang/Tingtibi and Trongsa, within the Trongsa Dzongkhag. Nestled amidst semi-tropical jungles, Nabji holds historical significance as the site where Guru Rinphoche mediated a peace pact between Sindu Raja, a local king of Bumthang, and Nowoche, a king from the Indian plains.
