Pokhara Natural Paradise – 3 days

Pokhara Natural Paradise – 3 days

Pokhara is the second-largest city in Nepal and a major tourist destination. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snow-capped mountains, blue lakes, and green forests surrounding the valley has always drawn tourists’ attraction. Pokhara is also known for its stunning view of the Annapurna range. Sarangkot is a hill to the western side of Pokhara that provides an uninterrupted view of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. Besides, Pokhara is also the gateway to the Annapurna region, where trekkers like to spend a few nights before departing to their destinations.

Pokhara in recent years has grown as a destination for adventure sports such as white water rafting, paragliding, ultra-light aircraft, zip-lining, bungee jumping, and other activities. Above all, the reflection of the Machhapuchres razor edge fishtail on the still waters of the Phewa lake gives a long-lasting impression of Pokhara valley. This extension trip is suitable for those travelers who want to explore the natural beauty within a short period.

Day 1: Arrival in Pokhara
Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to your hotel. It is located in the popular Lakeside part of the city, which is right on the shore of the beautiful Phewa Lake. It is a perfect location to shop, drink and dine. You have the option to take a boat ride for an hour on the lake and visit Taal Barahi Temple, situated on an island in the lake. The evening is free to stroll around the lakeside, walk the shores of the lake and relax. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 2: Visit Sarangkot & Pokhara
This morning is the perfect opportunity to view beautiful Himalayan views (weather permitting). Rise early and travel to Sarangkot to watch the changing light catch the peaks of the Annapurna Himalayas, including the distinctive Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), or ‘Fishtail’ mountain as the sun rises. Return to your hotel for breakfast on the way back to the hotel, visit the old bazaar and Bindabasini temple. After breakfast, set out on the Pokhara valley tour. Visit Devi’s Falls, Gupteswor Cave, Seti Gorge, Tibetan Settlement, and its colorful monastery with beautiful Handcraft. This afternoon we shall visit the World Peace Pagoda, also known as the Shanti Stupa. Shanti stupa stands at the top of Ananda Hill with stunning views of the Pokhara and the lakes surrounded by mountains. After visiting Peace Pagoda back to the hotel. Overnight in Pokhara

Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, depart to your next destination.
