Thank you for your most warm and articulate email. There is no need for you to apologize for the timing of it.  We hope you have been busy in a good way in the office helping many other travelers as they get to enjoy your wonderful country.

Firstly, we want to say thank you and tell you how much we enjoyed our experience in Bhutan.  It was all we had hoped for and more.  It ranks near the top of our trips to what has now been 36 countries.  The opportunity to see and experience the culture and meet some of the friendliest people in the world was wonderful.

The itinerary was perfect with the right combination of scheduled time and enough free time to rest between activities.  The flexibility we were given allowed us to stop and enjoy “unscheduled” things like some local archery and a much appreciated hot bath after our Tiger’s Nest hike.

Our guide, Sangay and our driver were a perfect match.  We were surprised to learn that they had not met before our tour since they worked so well together.   They were both a wealth of knowledge and very well suited for their chosen careers.   They are  both fine young men and Wind Horse is fortunate to have them associated with your company.

There were some occasions when Sangay’s fluency in English caused a bit of confusion but certainly nothing that took anything away from our ability to enjoy our experience.  He certainly taught us more Bhutanese than we taught him English.   (That is indeed one of the enjoyable experiences during our travels.)  He has the passion and motivation to mature into a complete tour guide and host.   We would certainly recommend him and ask for him should we have occasion to return. 

In summary, we have been on many tours in our travels and we would rank our Wind Horse experience as one of the best.  The dedication and professionalism that you, your company and all of its people demonstrate is world class.  Keep up the great work.
