I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere thanks, and the thanks for my wife, Dexter, for an amazing Bhutan experience.  We can’t say enough positive things about how well it all went.  We have had the good fortune of being able to do a lot of traveling over the years, and for both of us, this trip was one that will always stand out.

Karma was an excellent driver.  Honestly, it took us a few days to even realize he was driving a manual transmission, because his driving is so smooth.  He was friendly, respectful, kept the car immaculately clean, and always left us feeling safe.  I would recommend him to anyone who wants a driver they can trust.  And he respectfully shared about his life and his family, which enriched the whole experience.

And Ugyen is a phenomenal guide!  Patient, flexible, and always making sure we felt comfortable throughout all our adventures.  He is knowledgeable, kind, and his love of Bhutan –  the King, and the rich culture, and the natural environment – shone through every moment of our visit.  He was a good hiking partner, was always flexible, and is definitely a credit to your company!  He made it so our experience felt like a cultural immersion – we jumped right i to celebrations and ceremonies and he always reassured us that we could do so respectfully.

And special shout out to all 3 resorts where we stayed.  They were excellent, celebrated our honeymoon with kindness, and had very professional and attentive team members.

We have a number of friends who are avid travelers, and we will definitely recommend Windhorse – and specifically Ugyen and Karma – for them.   This trip was life-changing! Thank you.
