The very comfortable lodge is named after the most famous Sherpa from the region Konchok Chumbi. The lodge is situated on the main trail leading to the most popular trekkers destination such as the beautiful Gokyo Lake,the worlds renowned Tengboche monastery and the Mount Everest Base Camp.
The lodge has 18 rooms, and a dormitory that can accommodate 10 people.There is a good view of Mt.Ama Dablam from here.
Konchok Chumbi lodge has a large garden with plenty of space for camping with its own outdor toilets and washing facilities together with trekking kitchen. It is certainly a best place to stay for acclimatization.A visit to the local monasteries, the scalp of Yeti,Kunde Hospital and the various ridges that provide the best views of Mount Everest and other high Himalayan peaks, is recommended when you stay here.
