Wangdue Ecolodge is a family managed ecotourism venture. Built on the ancestral land of the family, the valley faces the confluence of two rivers. The four cottages having two suites each are a short walk along the ridge. Each Eco-Suite is self contained for a couple or family, having the option for twin beds or a king sized bed. Along with its large dressing and bathroom suite. One of the distinctive features of the Lodge is the close proximity of the dining room to the adjacent open kitchen. Our guests can observe how meals are prepared using the freshest ingredients and modern equipment and if interested, they can learn how to prepare Bhutanese dishes. We encourage dialogue with our highly experienced chef. The Lodge also possesses a farm that provides organic vegetables, dairy products and free range eggs. As many ingredients as possible are locally sourced and organic.
