Beypore || Beypore
Beypore, which is one of ancient Kerala's prominent maritime centres, is famous for its boat-building yards. They are legendary for building ships for many great sea admirals including Admiral Nelson who defeated Napoleon Bonaparte in the battle of Trafalgar. What makes the place interesting is that no matter the ship's size, the craftsmen build it based on experience without the use of any drawings.
