Chongye Burial Mounds
Among the 10 tombs in Chongye valley, the largest and the nearest is Banso Marpo of Tibet's unifying 33rd King Songtsen Gampo. The mound measure 13.4m high and sides measuring 129m each. On the top of the mound is a reconstructed 13 century temple, which offers views fine bird's eye view of Chongye valley, including the view of nine other tombs, view of town and Chingwa Tagtse Dzong and Riwo Dechen.
