Darap village || Darap village
Darap village situated about 8 Kms from Pelling is one of the few places that offers a refuge from the noise and the crowd of the city. The majority of the people belongs to the Limboo community along with other communities like the Bhutia, Chettri, Tamang, Rai, Gurung and Lepcha. The village is a living testimony of the Limboo culture and tradition. There are various activities that one can engage for example milking the cows, participating in gardening, processing butter and cheese, taking walk in the villages and nearby streams, interacting with the village children and locals etc.
