Dorji Drak Monastery
Tubten Dorji Drak is one of the two important Nyingma monasteries in U region. It was relocated to its present site from Tsang in 1632. The monastery is headed by incarnations of Rigdzin tulkus and current (10th in linage) reside in Lhasa. The monastery maintains the terma tradition known as Jangter, founded by first Rigdzin Godemchen Ngodrup Gyaltsen(1337-1409).
