Druk Thupten Sangak Choling monastery popularly known as Dali monastery is located at Dali about 4 kms away from Darjeeling town. This monastery was built by Kyabje Thuksay Rimpoche, it belongs to the Kagyupa sect and is the headquarters of Drukchen Rimpoche XII, the supreme head of the Kagyupa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
