Tsome Ling || Tsomonling

Tsome Ling: or Tsomonling, south of Ramoche is one of the four former royal temples. It was from one of these four temples that the regents of Tibet were appointed. This small site consists of two temples; the Karpo Podrang (white palace) in the east and Marpo Podrang (red place) in the west. The former dates from 1777 and the later was built at the beginning of 19th century. Both the buildings have fine murals and statues.
