Tsomgo lake || Tsomgo lake
Tsomgo lake also known as Changu lake is situated at an altitude of 3700mts at a distance of about 38kms from Gangtok. This is one of the high altitude lakes in India, it offers stunning views of the summits of Himalayan peaks. The lake surface reflects different colors with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkimese people. The lake remains frozen during the winter and in spring the profusion of flowers in bloom adds a riot of colors around the lake.
