Amazing Bhutan Trip

Happy new year. It’s nice to hear from you. The office work is so overwhelmed after I came back from Bhutan. Sorry I couldn’t reply to you sooner.

The trip in Bhutan was truly amazing. Taiwan is almost the same size as Bhutan, but we have 23 million people. It seems a little bit too crowded sometimes. While I was in Bhutan I felt peace and quiet and really relaxed. Phobjikha Valley is my favorite spot definitely. The view of the valley in the morning (just after sunrise) is astonishing.

It’s quite hard to find travel information about Bhutan in Chinese, so I barely knew about Bhutan before I went, but after Yonten introduced the culture and history in during my time there, I believe I have come to know Bhutan better now. There were a couple of times I asked him to take me to some spots that were not scheduled in the itinerary, so I’d like to thank Yonten and Yamraj for taking me to those locations.

Anyway, it was a memorable trip. It’s a pity that I couldn’t go further to the eastern part of the country. I hope I can visit Bhutan again soon. I’d like to spend much more time to walk or trek in the valley.
