Dzongdrakha Goemba, a visually stunning yet lesser-visited cliffside retreat is located off the Paro–Cheli La road, with a history tied to Guru Rinpoche’s battles against local demons. The site includes four chapels, a large chorten, and the charming Jongsarbu Lhakhang, founded in the 18th century. The Tsheringma Lhakhang is dedicated to the goddess of longevity, and a log ladder leads to the cave-like Droley Lhakhang, where locals go to name their newborn sons. Nearby, Guru Lhakhang holds tales of local spirits and sacred relics. The last building is the small Lhamey Lhakhang.
