Started in 2001, Hotel Manasarovar (Shenhu Jiudian) is located in the Tibetan area. This is so far the best hotel in Shigatse.
Unfortunately, it's more than a mile east of the restaurants and shops of Walking Street. Nevertheless, the pleasant rooms have hardwood floors with colorful Tibetan rugs.
