Jet Airways Ltd will introduce its second daily frequency from Mumbai to Kathmandu on March 30, 2014, as per a release. The airline will deploy its Boeing 737-800/900 Next Generation aircraft on this route, offering Premiere and Economy guests its in-flight service and in-flight entertainment.
The new service, flight 9W 268, will depart from Mumbai daily at 0805 hrs and arrive in Kathmandu at 1100 hrs Local Time (LT). On the return leg, flight 9W 267 will depart from Kathmandu at 1200 hrs (LT) and arrive in Mumbai at 1440 hrs (LT), providing onward connection on the airline’s network to domestic and international destinations.
This new service will complement the daily flight being operated between these destinations by Jet Airways. With this service, Jet Airways will be the only private airline to fly twice daily return flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Kathmandu.
