Gautam Buddha International Airport, also known as the Bhairahawa Airport, is located in Siddharthanagar in Lumbini has become the second International airport in Nepal. The airport was officially opened with the arrival of the first international flight by Jazeera Airlines from Kuwait City on 16th May 2022.

While other international airlines like Air Arabia, Flydubai, and Wizz Air are looking forward operate flights to Gautam Buddha Airport. Besides, domestic airlines like Buddha Air, Guna Air, Yeti Airlines, Shree Air, and Shaurya Air conduct regular flights to Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bharatpur.
