Holi – the colorful festival is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima in the month of February or early March. Holi, also called Holikotsava is marked with gaiety and fervor throughout the country. Celebrating the colorful Holi Festival people relish gujiyas, mathris, malpuas and Bhaang Thandai, the intoxicating traditional Holi drink. Holi craze is more apparent among young kids. They roam around the streets with various water toys and balloons many days before the festival. Both young kids and elder ones love playing sweet Holi pranks on Holi.
