Jomulhari Mountain Festival

Jhomolhari Mountain Festival in Jangothang (Jhomolhari Base camp) on 23rd and 24th October 2014. The festival will involve the communities of Soe Yutey (Thimphu) and Soe Yaksa (Paro). The festival was organised in keeping with the request from the local communities residing in and around snow leopard area. The festival is for local people, however in case if any tourists happen to be trekking in that area on that particular date it would be an opportunity for them to joint the festival.
