This itinerary provides a moderate walk that introduces trekking in Nepal while staying at the decent trek lodges with attached bath, suitable even for first-time trekkers

Starting at the foothills, climb through the forests up to Ghorepani for the incredible panorama from Poonhill. The trek then gradually winds north along the Kali Gandaki gorge into the desolate landscape of the lower Mustang region. The terrain ranges from subtropical forests to high mountains and arid desert landscapes resembling the Tibetan Plateau.

Jomsom Kagbeni via Poon Hill Trek is part of the famous Annapurna Circuit trek. It is modified carefully so that even first-time trekkers can take it up. The construction of the road along the Kali Gandaki has garnered a negative impact. Apart from that, it is a great trek. But in this itinerary, we have taken advantage of this road to cover the distance when needed and avoided it when possible to retain the allure of trekking.

On the trek, we select the best available trekkers lodge, with an attached bath, so that you don’t have to rough your holiday. This Jomsom Kagbeni via Poon Hill trek combines a variety of landscapes, from hills to mountain sights to even being near the majestic peaks themselves. Besides, it covers a wide range of people, cultures, arts, and architecture. There is no concern for altitude sickness because the few high-altitude walks that it incorporates are optional.

Jomsom Kagbeni via Poonhill Trek with the option to visit Muktinath is our new program that incorporates easy to moderate trek using lodges.
