Chendebji Chorten || Chendebji Stupa
Chendebji Chorten is an 18th-century stupa located in central Bhutan, about 40 km west of Trongsa. Built in the Nepali style with eyes painted on all sides, it resembles the famous Swayambhunath Stupa in Kathmandu. The chorten was constructed by Lama Shida to subdue a local demon and is now a peaceful spiritual site surrounded by scenic landscapes. It serves as a popular stop for travelers and hosts annual religious festivals, attracting pilgrims and locals alike.
