Kenchoksum Temple

Kenchoksum Temple, located a short walk from Tamshing Monastery, was rebuilt after being damaged by a fire in 2010. The original temple is believed to date back to the 8th century and was renovated by Terton Pema Lingpa in the 15th century. The main statues inside the temple depict Buddha Vairocana and the three Buddhas representing the past, present, and future. Additionally, there is a broken bell that is said to date back to the 8th century.
