Nyelung Drachaling temple

Nyelung Drachaling temple was one of the eight Ling (residences) of the 14th-century Nyingma Dzogchen master Longchen Rabjam (Longchenpa). Although unassuming in appearance, it houses remarkable relics and stories about the saint. A short distance away, a centuries-old cypress tree is said to have grown from Longchenpa's inverted walking stick. On the return journey, you can visit two sacred springs at the hill's base, where pilgrims collect bottles of holy water known as "drub chhu."
