Canoeing
Canoe ride in the Rapti river can be a most pleasant and a thrilling experience. The journey down the Rapti river in a traditional dugout canoe offers you the chance to observe the breathtaking views of the Chitwan National Park as well as the different species of birds and wild animals that come for a sip at the water's edge. It will also be a pleasure for bird lovers to observe different species of birds like the Egret, Cormorant, Pond Heron, Open Billed Stork and others. Most importantly during the slow ride you will have the opportunity to witness the two species of crocodile the Marsh Mugger and the Gharial basking on the river banks in their natural habitat.
