Dhulikhel || The most beautiful hill resort.
Located just about 28km from Kathmandu, Dhulikhel is another popular place to view the mountain ranges. The view from Dhulikhel is as good as those from Nagarkot. Dhulikhel is a small Newari town with a village square lined with temples. In the main square there is the Harisiddhi and the Narayan temple, both are dedicated to lord Vishnu. The main place to view the mountains is from the edge of a ridge. One can get 180o panoramic view of mountains including Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Lhotse Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa among others. There are also some good days hike from Dhulikhel, one can hike to Panauti, Kavre or Opi village and if you are looking for longer hike you can hike to Namobuddha and Nagarkot.
