Druk Amitabha Monastery || A buddhist monastery
Druk Amitabha Monastery popularly known as the Seto Gumba(white monastery) is a Buddhist monastery belonging to Buddhist nuns. It is located on a top of a hill about 3kms north of Swayambhu outside the ring road in Nagarjun municipality of Kathmandu district. The Seto Gumba is a cultural site full of Tibetan architecture and culture.
Surrounded by lush green forest, the area around the monastery is very peaceful and calm. Visitors come here to enjoy the peace and tranquility and for meditation and learn more about Buddhism. As the monastery is situated on a hill top one can also enjoy picturesque view of Kathmandu valley and the mountains around.
