Elephant Safari || Jungle Safari
Elephant ride is the safest way to enter the National Park. Seated on a sturdy wooden box like frame placed on the back of the elephant, high above the ground is completely safe from other wild animals. One can enter the dense forest and view the wild animals from up close. Though not very comfortable the ride but it will be a life time experience. Elephant Safaris are usually organized 3 times a day, early morning, mid morning and late afternoon. And each trip generally last between 1 to 1.5 hours. Besides elephant safari there are various other activities in Chitwan that you can experience. For example you can go for a Jeep ride, take a jungle walk, go for bird watching or take a canoe ride.
