Bumdrak || Bhumdra Lhakhang

Bumdrak temple is located at an elevation of 3800m, above Paro Taktsang Monastery in Paro. Bumdra or Bumdrak  literally means "hundred thousand footprints on a cliff". It is said that thousands of Dakinis (angels) descended from heaven whose  imprints on the rocks that are now housed in the temple. Dorji Phakmo is the main deity or Dakini.
The place is associated with the renowned saint Guru Rimpoche and his consort Khandro Yeshi Tshogyel, who practice Dorji Phakmo here.
