Manakamna Temple || Wish fulfilling temple
Manakamana Temple situated in Gorkha District is a sacred place of Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. The word Manakamana is originated from two words -˜mana' which means heart and -˜kamana' means wish. It is believed that devotees who make a wish by their heart in this temple would apparently be fulfilled. Manakamna temple is situated 12kms from the town of Gorkha and about 104kms from Kathmandu. The temple situated on a hill overlooks the Trishuli and the Marshyangdi river valleys and provides spectacular views of the Manaslu, Himalchuli and the Annapurna ranges. Manakamana temple can be reached from Kurintar on the way to Mugling by a cable car ride.
