Thorong La Pass || HIghest mountain pass in the world
Thorong La Pass at the height of 5416m is the highest mountain pass in the world. It is also the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The pass connects the village of Manang in the Manang district in the east and the temple of Muktinath and the village of Ranipauwa in Mustang district in the west. Thorong La Pass trek is the shortest version of the Annapurna circuit trek on the northeastern slopes of the Annapurna region. However the trek is difficult but the rewards are overwhelming, Thorong la pass provides stunning views of mountains including the Lamjung Himal (6970m) , Mt. Manaslu (8150m), Annapurna III (7550m), Annapurna IV (7570m), Gangapurna (6480m), Pisang peak(6081m), Tilicho peak (7140m) Tukuche peak (6950m), Nilgiri (7045m), Dhaulagiri (8160m) etc.
